About the author
I'm a full-time freelance writer who has traditionally published eighteen books and ghostwritten dozens more. I'm the scriptwriter of the Emmy-Award-nominated documentary Trail Magic: The Grandma Gatewood Story that appeared on PBS and won multiple film festival awards. I'm both the scriptwriter and an associate producer of Victoria Woodhull: Shattering Glass Ceilings that appeared and the Cleveland International Film Festival and is winning awards.
Wells Waite Miller and Me: An 8th OVI Civil War Biography is the first book where I've handled everything from start to finish. It's the story of how I randomly picked a Civil War soldier to research, not even knowing his first name! During seven years of research, I connected with several of his descendants with Wells' life and mine dovetailing in ways that are hard to explain.
