Cary Flanagan has been a quilter since 1991. After a twenty-year career in Mental Health and Social Services, she left to become a quilt pattern designer, author, and teacher. She established Something Sew Fine Quilt Design in 2004, and her work sells nationally and internationally. Cary Flanagan has been a quilter since 1991. Cary was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but spent most of her summers at her family’s summer home, a log cabin on a small lake near the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This special place has been central to her life and has served as the setting for all three novels in the Hannah’s Legacy trilogy.

Cary holds a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and an M.Ed. in Counseling. She lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband and their much-loved rescue dog, Nyxie.
